I have to say that the Designer Series Paper I keep being drawn back to is the new Thoroughly Modern group. Between the patterns and colors it is just lovely! Here's a card using one of those patterns paired with the new Soft Suede color.
And again you see the Modern Label Punch. Really I need to diversify here, but like I mentioned in a previous post-I keep going back to this punch again & again. It's completely become a mainstay in my projects because it's so simple yet adds that extra little punch.
To make the scalloped card itself I used the Big Shot Die-Cut Machine with our new exclusive Stampin' Up! Scallop Square Bigz Clear Die. These clear dies are excellent if you're using them on patterned paper or a picture where there is a specific thing that you want to be centered in the scallop. It completely takes the guesswork out of it for you which is a great thing! To make the card using this die you'll just line up the folded edge of the card inside one edge of the die so that it is only cutting the 3 other sides of the scallop square. This will leave your folded edge uncut and keep your card together in one piece.
