As I write this we have just gotten more snow with an excellent springtime blizzard. Let me tell you something about me-I was not made to live in northern Minnesota! I would happily relocate to Arizona-one of my favorite places to visit. Now my husband on the other hand-not so thrilled with the extreme heat of summer there. But days like this happen to be one of the very few times I win the argument!
As I sat watching the snow fly around outside I was trying to get into a springtime mode. One stamp set that does this for me just by looking at it is Good Friend. I just love the bird and funky flowers. So my intent with this card was a complete springtime look. Now-the card itself...well-it says spring to me-but you just have to know that I'm generally not a pastel-type person! (And for those of you who wonder-I did completely CASE this card-it was on display at Stampin' Up!'s leadership conference in January.) I haven't yet added a greeting to it as I'm not sure who will receive it yet. But when I do it will more than likely be small and to the left of the birds feet on the white card stock.
We're supposed to continue getting more snow into tomorrow morning. And then they're predicting a couple days of relief and then more snow to come this weekend. Are we not heading into APRIL??? Send some spring vibes my way!
