Haiti Disaster Relief Update

There are just a couple days left to participate in Stampin′ Up!’s Haitian relief efforts! Until February 28, 2010, Stampin′ Up! is setting aside $2 from the sale of the I {Heart} Hearts stamp set to be donated to the American Red Cross’ Haiti Relief and Development Fund. So far, demonstrators around the world have sold 11,895 sets, which equates to over $20,000 to be donated to this fund--but we don’t want to stop now! You still have 3 days left to participate in this effort and join other Stampin′ Up! customers and demonstrators in making a difference in lives of those who continue to suffer in Haiti.

Haitian Disaster Relief

Help make a difference in the lives of those who continue to suffer from the effects of the devastating earthquake that struck Haiti on January 12. From now until February 28, 2010, Stampin' Up!® will set aside $2 from the sale of every I {Heart} Hearts stamp set and donate it to the American Red Cross’ Haiti Relief and Development Fund. The Red Cross is already well-established in Haiti, and this money will be used to provide immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to help those in need.

I'm still here!

I have not disappeared! It's the busiest time of year for me in my day job plus my dog had surgery and I've been taking care of everything myself for the last week. So-I promise you-posts are coming! Sparkly & Bright Notecard

Sorry I've been a little absent lately! My day job gets a little crazy at year-end. Plus it's Christmas time (next week already-where has time gone???). Here's a cute holiday card to brighten your day. My day will get brighter this evening when I place my Occasions Mini Catalog pre-order including the new clear blocks and new-style punches!

 

Instructions

1. Stamp greeting on bottom half of Ruby Red card stock. Cover image with White Stampin' Emboss powder, and shake off excess. Heat emboss.
2. Stamp polka-dot image in Ruby Red ink on top half of Ruby Red card stock. 
3. Stamp three stocking images in Old Olive, Ruby Red, and Taken with Teal ink, and cut out stockings. Adhere over polka-dots.
4. Sew across top of stockings.
5. Fold Old Olive polka-dot ribbon in half, and staple to back side of stocking piece
6. Adhere Old Olive strip and Tempting Turquoise button to stocking piece.
7. Adhere stocking piece to Ruby Red notecard.

Starting with the new 2010 Occasions Mini Catalog and continuing with all new punch designs going forward, Stampin' Up! has adopted a new body style for our punches!

 

A few features of the new punch style:

• Low-profile, rectangular punch body allows for easier stacking and storing
• Punches lock shut for easier storage and transport
• Dual labels on top and end allow for easy identification and selection when stored
• Available in three sizes: small, medium, and extra-large
• New punches allow for larger punched images and more intricate designs while providing greater ease of use.
  • Extra -large punch images also allow for two-step designs like the Two-Step Bird punch in the Occasions Mini Catalog
• Corner punches allow you to punch a corner design along the inside edges of a page, not just corners
• larger, whole-hand handle design provides better leverage for easier use
• Available in an exclusive Stampin' Up! color
